Each year, ASL students coordinate and plan an “Alternative Spring Break” trip to Washington DC to visit prominent deaf organizations such as the National Association for the Deaf and the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.  Their trip also includes a visit to Gallaudet University, the “premier institution of learning, teaching and research for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.”
