Language Creation Lab (Department of Psychological Sciences)

Students who are interested in research opportunities related to language and cognitive development in deaf and hard of hearing children, or on emerging sign languages may apply to be an undergraduate Research Assistant in Dr. Marie Coppola’s lab (application linked here). Some responsibilities are coding participant videos, conducting literature searches, supporting manuscript progress, and managing the lab’s social media accounts. Knowledge of ASL, Spanish, and about deaf communities is desirable, but not required. Training is provided and a 2-semester commitment is required.
