The ASL club members are interested in ASL! Participants include students with a wide range of ASL experience, from beginner to advanced. You do not need to be taking ASL courses to participate! Members with little to no experience are helped and encouraged by peers to try new signs and expand on their knowledge of the Deaf world. Meetings are held each week and the club takes trips to different events held by the Deaf community. Each Spring, the ASL club puts on a Deaf Awareness Day which promotes greater knowledge and recognition of ASL and Deaf culture.
