In collaboration with Experiential Global Learning (EGL), students may participate in an immersive one-week language and cultural experience where you will engage with and learn about the Puerto Rican Deaf community through daily activities and a community project, explore Puerto Rican history, culture, cuisine and participate in activities such as a visit to Old San Juan, Seven Seas Beach, El Yunque National Rain Forest and local Deaf business owners.
Mark your calendar. Our next Winter ASL in Puerto Rico will be offered January 2-9, 2027. Applications are completed and submitted through EGL and should become available in Spring 2026. Scholarships are also available through EGL.
